AirAsia has announced it will launch a new route to Chiang Rai, Thailand.
From November 2, AirAsia Malaysia will launch the new route connecting Kuala Lumpur and Chian Rai in northern Thailand with three weekly flights – operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The outbound flight – AK871 – will depart Kuala Lumpur and arrive at Chiang Rai in the afternoon. The return flight – AK872 – will depart in the mid-afternoon and arrive back at Kuala Lumpur in the evening.
AirAsia will offer the only connection to Chiang Rai from Kuala Lumpur, while adding to the AirAsia Group's presence at the city. Thai AiAsia offers flights to Chiang Rai from Bangkok-Don Mueang Airport.
